Many tradesmen can come into contact with asbestos materials and should be made aware of the potential dangers associated with disturbing these materials and be in a position to recognise the dangers and to ensure their own and others health. EML undertakes asbestos awareness training for employers and their employees who may come into contact with these materials.
The main groups of workers deemed to be at risk include:
Electricians; Plumbers; Gas fitters; Painters and Decorators; Construction Workers; Heating and Ventilation Engineers; Roofers; Scaffolders; Cable Contractors; Architects and Building Surveyors.
